General Sales Terms Order Changes Order Cancellations Refundable Container Deposit

General Sales

• For your convenience, call 1-800-538-TREE, to place your order and we'll determine your shipping costs and refundable container deposit for you!
• Price of seedlings are determine by the total number of seedlings ordered. Mix and Match up to 5 species. For over 5 species please call. No order too small.
• Volume discounts available for orders over 10,000 trees. Inquire
• Height of seedlings will vary depending on species, container size, weather and age of seedling.
• Availability is based on the estimated time our stock will be of sufficient size for shipping. Please place your order early! We'll hold your order until your requested ship week.
• For general tree orders, please state the week that you would like to receive your order. The scheduled shipping date will be stated on your confirmation. If your order has to be received by a specific date please let us know and we will make the necessary arrangements.
• Orders placed less than two weeks before the requested ship date may be charged a 10% rush charge at our discretion.

Terms - Our terms have changed. Please read carefully.

• 25% non-refundable deposit due with your order. We encourage you to pay by credit card to insure your product is placed on order immediately.
• Product will not be reserved until the nonrefundable deposit payment is received. Once the payment is received your product will be placed on order and a confirmation will be mailed to you.
• Orders for less than $100.00 require full payment.
• You will receive a final invoice 4-6 weeks before your scheduled ship date. To insure your order ships on time, final payments must be received at least 5 days prior to scheduled ship date, otherwise your ship date may be delayed.
• To help us keep our busy shipping schedule moving smoothly, please don't wait to change your ship date! If we have not been notified of any changes and if balances are not received by the scheduled ship date, your order may be cancelled and deposits forfeited.
• Customers qualifying for credit, terms are 25% nonrefundable deposit due with order, balance due in 30 days of delivery.
• Past due accounts will be charged 1.50 percent per month compounded monthly. Collection costs, if needed, are the customer's responsibility.
• Orders are subject to crop conditions. Itasca Greenhouse, is not responsible to crop losses due to fire, hail, frost, inventory error or other conditions beyond our control.

We understand that your planting needs change as time goes on, but to insure that we can continue to operate efficiently during busy shipping seasons:

Order Changes

• Planting date delayed? No need to change your ship or pick up date. Seedlings may be held in container by the customer until it is convenient to plant, provided they are kept watered.
• Please make any order changes at least 30 days before the scheduled ship week or pick up date. Changes made after this date will be honored at our discretion and may be charged a $10.00 change order fee.
• Requests for orders to be held over from spring to fall, or fall to spring, will be charged an additional $15.00 per 1000, minimum $15.00 charge

Order Cancellations

• If order is cancelled, down payment is forfeited. For cancellations for orders paid in full, there will be a charge of 25% of the order.

Refundable Container Deposit: We're passing savings along to you! In the interest of reducing costs and remaining conservation minded we reuse the container many times. By giving you, our customer, the option of returning the container for a deposit refund, saves money for everyone. Check with your shipping company. Your number of containers and distance from us may make returning blocks to us cost prohibitive.

• To receive container deposit refund, containers need to be returned within one year. Refunds for container returned from previous years will be at the discretion of the management.
• Please enclose your name, address and order # when returning blocks.
• No charges will be made on normal wear, however damaged or lost styroblocks will be deducted from the container deposit refund at container cost.
• Allow up to four weeks for refund.

Cost Sharing Programs

• Our tree seedlings are approved for government cost sharing programs.

Other Services

• We also offer grafting, germination testing, customer seed extraction, cleaning and storage services. In addition we would be more than happy to work with you growing trees for your research and development projects.
